Step back to the 2012-13 season with the official Arsenal home jersey, a kit that honors the innovative legacy of legendary manager Herbert Chapman. This shirt represents a period of classic Arsenal football and the introduction of new talent to the Emirates stage. The classic red body and white sleeves feature a unique twist: the addition of blue (obsidian) hoop details on the sleeves. This design element was inspired by the socks worn by Chapman's pioneering side in the 1930s to improve player visibility on the pitch. This jersey was worn by exciting new signings and established stars, including the arrivals of creative maestro Santi Cazorla, striker Lukas Podolski, as well as the likes of Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta.
